Artist's Statement

My oil paintings and pastels are about places, spaces and living beings that speak to me personally. I believe the artist has no other choice in life but to create if indeed this is his calling. A good name for my works would be movements or formations, since an artist must be allowed to sit back and watch clouds or ideas floating by....Any cloud formation or life image that goes by is the artist's to capture in their medium. Each image that comes to an artist says," Here I am, Enflesh me. Give Birth to me."
Biography

My oil paintings and pastels are about the places, spaces and living beings that speak to me personally on some level. My training in studio arts/fine arts has allowed me to explore many ways of art-making. i am presently pursuing my MFA in painting from the Academy of Art in San Francisco. I hope to update my online gallery as my work evolves!
