My intrest is in creating pieces of Fine Art Photography. I want to produce art that is more than just a scenic view. I like to display the beauty of nature, and the objects found within, in the best of natural light, in either vivid color or classic black and white photographs, expressing the mood, feelings, and emotions of the time and place. Outdoors I'm usually drawn to the water. I like the quality of the light and the reflections that come from being on or near the water. You'll find that a good portion of my art is based on the ocean, beaches, waterfalls, mountain lakes and streams. Customers often comment that many of my photographs have a calming or soothing effect. This is an emotion that I usually strive for. Even on a stormy wave tossed coast, I find peace, and I try to relay this feeling in the art I produce.

Roupen Baker is an award winning independent professional photographer from Yarmouthport Massachusetts, Cape Cod. His specialty is Fine Art landscape, seascape and Nature photography. He is also a full time Fire Department Captain, and enjoys spending time outdoors, He is an avid runner, hiker, SCUBA diver, sailor, explorer and traveler. His photographs display his passion for adventure and the great outdoors. There is a major emphasis on photographs of his Cape Cod and New England seacoast home. His portfolio also features our National Parks, seashores, forests, mountains and wilderness areas. There is also photography from his travels of the Caribbean and Mexico.
