My paintings and drawings are typically of figurative subjects such as dancers, musicians, pinups and nudes. Influences include work by pop artists such as Peter Blake, impressionists such as Edgar Degas, and Van Gogh, as well as contemporary music, fashion design, and dance. With some formal art training including painting and screen printing, I create distinctive figure paintings and drawings, as well as digital art based on original paintings and photographs. 'The Phoenix ‘, and ‘Mad World’ are popular examples of my figurative art works that are now available as prints. Other works include wildlife, the natural world, and sports subjects such as racehorses.
