I often use the telephoto to capture candid situations. I don't want my images to be posed or staged and sometimes this may affect the composition, lighting, even focus. Although this may return less than perfect results according to the book, I believe it shares the moment in time as I saw it and experienced it.

Being the owner of an adventure travel tour company, I have the opportunity to vist many countries and cultures. I find that experiencing these cultures and meeting the people, understanding their living situations gives perspective to to my life and beliefs. As I wander far away places, I try to capture scenes that have caused me to look twice since those are the things I will want to remember and share.
