Art is perception. Everyone sees beauty, but often in different objects, sights, and concepts. My art is what I perceive as beautiful and if someone else sees it as beautiful I am happy to share it. My childhood in the rural aspects of Iowa has lured me to a love of nature and landscapes. The influence and relationship with my father has taught the inherant beauty of automobiles: an appreciation of sleek lines and the thrill of horsepower. The beauty in my varied interests aids me in creating art, I feel as if I'm a translator of sorts. Enjoy what you see, for I am happy and willing to share and make my art a part of your life. I was born in Fairfield, Iowa and currently live outside of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Education includes an BA, in Art and in Communication from Luther College, and an MBA from the University of Iowa. My varied interests include: arts and crafts design, the spanish movement. I have an interest in stained glass design and sculpture as well as my oil and drawings. Non-art interests include animal rescue, especially australian shepherds, automobiles, especially classic muscle car design.
