Joy Parker has been photographing for nearly 30 years. "I think I got my first camera when I was about 8 years old." She took pictures of everything she saw -- including portraits of her dolls. "I was always very interested in photographing inanimate objects rather than people. I would photograph the dishes in the sink and tractors in the yard. Anything around me." With exposure at such an early age, Joy decided to study photography throughout high school and into college. Joy's main concentration is color photography, but has also dabbled with film, video, watercolor and collage and the world wide web.
