To Magi, her work is all in the detail: from the tools she uses to create the delicate lines in her scratchboards to the the thickness and texture of paint and how she applies it to her canvas. A few have described Magi's artwork as snapshots of her emotions. She especially loves to incorporate plants, trees and fantasy into her work, and she is constantly exploring new media. She also loves to explore the human psyche, either through observation of others or in challenging her own mind.
Growing up, Magi, now 24, has always been interested in the arts, taking art classes whenever she could and participating in juried shows, winning several awards in scratchboard, print and photography. She currently lives outside of Philadelphia where she continues to create new pieces as well as commissioned pieces and freelance graphic design. Although she likes to dip her hands into all types of media, her newest work includes painting terracotta pots.
