Jonathan Kent was born in Florence, Italy.
Passion for art in all its forms moved him since his youth. Art Works of the past have been always part of his life with a great influence on his taste.
His father was a painter. Noticing his passion, he sent the young Jonathan to the Academy of Fine Arts to improve his artistic skills.
Art Works of the Masters of the past, his constant companions and guides, inspired Jonathan to paint after them.
He started doing re-creations of the Masters and never stopped.
Soon, he opened a successful gallery exclusive to these kind of Art Works.
In 1991, after moving to the United States, he opened the Jonathan Kent Gallery in Los Angeles.
In 2006, Jonathan created Art Kent®, a web store dedicated to high quality, low priced replicas of the finest Art Works of the past.
His experience of more than thirty years in the Fine Art business has been very useful in choice of the subjects.
