Born in NYC 1954, I am #3 of 14 brothers & sisters,I left city life for greener pastures in 1984 to paint & illustrate rural country scenes, landscapes and seascapes by memory of earlier days on the new England coast.
Raised my family of 5 children in the country & later began travelling cross country when I became single again, on short trips to gain new inspirations for my work.
Now I'm back at the farm in north central Pennsylvania leisurely working from home as I finally found the time to devote soley to my art.
Virtually giving up oils & turning to acrylics as my medium of choice, along with pen & inks, charcoals & pencils illustrating towns & countryside both real & imagined.
Favoring New England countrysides, lakes, ponds & mountains as well as scenes from the South West & anything inbetween.
Working on canvas, paper, wood, rock, glass & various crafts, doing signwork, billboards, murals & stage sets for homes, offices, churches & schools. Charity work as needed, I lend a hand to help the needy & fundraisers for worthy causes.
I', a Christian, a mother & grandmother, my art reflects what is good in life ,inspired by my faith in God & the beauty of his creation as he is the master artist of us all.
