Creative expression through art has always been with me since childhood. The picture an artist creates, with any medium, must compel us to keep looking, as we see the artist's love of the subject show through with beauty, color, line, form, and composition. A person has to love the art they create otherwise it will not be convincing. As a native Californian, I'm always inspired by the beauty of nature and try to incorporate that feeling into my photographs and digital art. Growing up in a suburban town in Southern California, where orange orchards where visible all around and houses popped up in the middle of dairy fields, I've always appreciated the natural beauty California has to offer. Being influenced by my dad's creativity, I was a commercial art major in college, but ended up with a degree in Liberal Arts. My husband and I raised our family in Silicon Valley. Now, living in the inland area of the central coast of California, I enjoy photography and digital art as another means of creative expression to capture the beauty that exists in the scenery and even in my own backyard.
