The magic of the EYE: nothing is staged. Taking a picture is easy. Capturing the essence of that moment, person, place, scene, or thing is another question. We have been reputed to recognize that moment. Drawing on 46 years of knowing one another, we have grown within the experiences of exploring our world aggressively, raising three great kids with an adventurous attitude, and delineating the fine layers within the moment. As the years progressed, our pictures got better and better. We have honed our skills riding the unpredictable flow of life. The EYE is what seperates the photographer from the picture taker. We each have two keen eyes and perhaps a few others that intuit that next great shot. Our kids all have keen eyes. It is all about grasping the spirit of a moment in time and space. We view our world through the lens of a camera which allows us to be witnesses as opposed to onlookers. None of our images have been staged. We shoot digital photos utilizing the vast options available in this format. Both of us have been seasoned by shooting 35mm for decades and now enjoy the freedom that the digital format. We have studied photography throughout our lives as a hobby. Photographing our travels, everyday life and especially documenting the growth of a loving family has sharpend our sensitivity for the feelings and sentiments that photos can reveal.
