For as long as I can remember I've had the need to create. There is something about a blank piece of paper that drives me to put something on there to leave my mark in this world.
I will be here for just a very short time, considering that the universe has existed for billions of years. In a blink, I will be gone.
Whether in art or music I need to express myself.
I am a self taught artist who is always learning and striving to do more.
I am disabled due to fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome so art has even become more important to me as I don't have the energy or inspiration to create much of it these days. But, when I do, I'm finding that I'm exploring avenues I never have in my artwork. Taking more time to express my emotions rather than perfection in technique. Whether that's a good or bad thing only time will tell.
I have accomplished much in my past, all of which I'm very proud of, and I'm sincerely hoping I haven't come to the end of acheiving just because I'm ill now. I hope everyday that it's the beginning of something new and exciting. Without hope I guess I'd just want to curl up and die because without purpose, what is life?
I hope you enjoy my artwork. You will find it varies significantly, from realistic to obscure, depending on my mood and ability at the time.
Thank you for stopping by!
Rhonda
