If you had 3 minutes on the world stage, what would you say?
It is my hope that everyone, both young and old, will use his or her talents to make the world a better place. We don't get very much time so it is an important question...
If you had three minutes on the World Stage- what would you say?
Lightening struck in my family when my son, Cody, was diagnosed with cancer. His diagnosis changed my circumstances overnight but it also freed me from my material life... Before cancer I defined myself by the possessions I had accumulated and the safe little world I had created! Change came with Cody's illness and I am such a better person for it. Living in a small, safe bubble is not really, truly, deeply living!
Cody battled for two years and he taught so many people about courage, love and heart! He spent his three minutes bravely giving... and when his work was done, at the tender age of 13, he went home... From here, I don't know what the future will bring but I can honestly say that I'm not afraid. I don't have all the answers, but I do know we are all so much more than what we have, than what we wear, and we are greater than our circumstances. People Matter! I hope you will live, laugh and love with your WHOLE heart!
