I am an emerging artist. I started painting less than 2 years ago. First and foremost, art is about communication. It is innate. I started painting because of Jackson Pollock and the whole New York School/Abstract Expressionism. To me painting is both spiritual and emotional. . It helps me cope with the harsh reality of this existence. Too much hate and ignorance and greed and violence. We all should strive for peace, freedom, democracy and justice as we evolve. We are the only species that is capable of war, death and destruction. No other species is capable of producing weapons of mass destruction. By creating art I am trying to communicate through propaganda. Creating art is my contribution to the universal Revolution that would one day liberate us from wars and from the slavery that is keeping us down. And since I possess freewill since birth, i will do all that I can to liberate those that I can. Slavery is not freedom. Therefore hate is not love and war is not peace. Enough of the Orwellian double-talk already. They can fool some people sometimes, but they can't fool all the people all the time...I would like to continue where the Abstract Expressionists had left off. I would like to call this new movement 'Neo-Abstract Expressionism.' In this post-modern epoch there are endless means of the production of art. the old masters would want us to move beyond the medium of paint simply because we should. We are, afterall, the avant-garde. We must try to master our techniques of creating art. We must continue to push the envelope. Art is revolutionary. And so are we. The means are endless. If an artist wants to create art, she will find ways and means to do so. We must continue the struggle towards the universal Revolution. This Revolution is gonna end all revolutions. I guess I will see alll of you at the gates of Utopia once this Revolution is universalized.Just worry about the technique(s) for without these techniques, artists wouldn't even 'know' how to 'expres
