While each one of us is aware of the natural beauty of the world we live, I hope that in some small way that my portrayal of that beauty through my photographs, will give each one the opportunity to pause to reflect, if only but for a minute.
Photography, while it has always been a hobby, has become an outlet for me to highlight my love of the outdoors for others to enjoy. I have now retired from the natural resources and environmental science fields. It is my hope that somehow through my photographs, I can share my love of the natural beauty all around us.
As I was growing up in Chillicothe, Ohio, I had the privilege of traveling through out the United States. As a result of that experience, I grew to appreciate the diversity and the beauty of the United States. I have traveled in at least 45 states, including Hawaii, of this beautiful country that I call home.
I moved from my home in Chillicothe to attend Oregon State University in Corvallis,Oregon, where I received a degree in forest mangagement. After a tour of duty in Vietnam, I have lived and worked in Oregon and Washington for over 40 years. I now live with my bride of 40 years, Delma, in Prosser, Washington. Together, we have raised three children. I am now retired with a few part-time positions. I love it.
My favorite subjects for my photographs are the Oregon Pacific Coast, the mountains of the Cascade Range, and the dry desert panoramas of Eastern Washington, including the area around my home in Prosser.
