The passion and inspiration I encounter for my pictures runs from the hands of the creator, the nature and my models. My creative process usually sparks a brainwave, inspired by the light seeping through a dark forest, the smell of mature wine, or the sounds of the leisurely flowing stream. I embark on a vision that leads me to an artistic evolution. Before I start I like to know my subject, to open their eyes enough for me to see their soul. To me a model’s figure is like a sculpturer mound of clay. In my work I’m not looking for a perfect nude body, but for a nude form that will inspire me to create my photographs.

Krzysztof Machulewski was born in Warsaw Poland where he lived until 1986. Presently he lives in Toronto Canada where he shares his passion for photography with his work as a television producer. Machulewski's unique photographs are an original blend of trance mood visionary mysticism desire and passion. They comprises of individual studies of human form portraits nudes as well as landscapes and architectures. Machulewski's works in techniques comprises mostly of digital and 35mm photography. His photographs are predominately monochromatic but colours are also included in his line of work. Believing that the eye of photographer not the type of camera makes the picture Machulewski's photographs offer high impact at first sight.
