This piece is full of texture. There is a lively mix of soft brown tones and rich bronze highlights. When I painted it, I was thinking about the mucky edge of the sea floor at low tide, but the colors also remind me of warm french toast. Perhaps I'm just hungry :) I hope you like this piece.
