This is an altered digital image. The picture was taken on a hill off the backroads in Central California. I parked my car and headed up the hill for this view. It's often hard these days to get images of open land, especially from the road, as so many fields are privately owned and fenced off. I altered this image as one of a series adding golden yellow filters to give a warmer feeling to the image - a bit like autumn light, a bit more contrasted, reminiscent of old Kodak pictures.
