This photograph is a great representation of the playful nature of sea lions. Diving with these animals is a wonderful experience. They move very quickly and gracefully underwater. Although this female is bearing her teeth at me, I know she only wants my attention. She is having fun diving like a torpedo at my face stopping only seconds before impact to blow bubbles at me. I am always entertained while diving with these animals, it seems that once they have filled their bellies, the rest of their day is dedicated to play time, and I am glad to join them.
