About this work:
Elia "Gadget" Kazan (On the Waterfront), a victim of the Red Scare, must have hated the punk movement. While Kazan cared only for his work and not so much for his public image (shown by his name-telling to Sen. McCarthy), the rebellious youth of the late '70s and '80s cared for nothing but presenting a "Yeah, whatever" public image. Kazan was a great figure who taught us to love our art above all else.
