Struck by the combination of the bright red of the roses and the deep blue ultramarine of the glass I attemtped to catch this image in red, grey and blue. I use various layers to achieve a maximum saturation of colour. By using a theatrical light I trie to unite the strong colours. Oil painting. Ariane Fine Art.
