About this work:
This painting is based on my sleeping daughter,Lili, who was about 12 at the time. I did get carried away with the rainbow stripes on the sheets, and practically let the paint squirt out of the tubes for a painterly affect. It is representative of the dreams that are beyond our control and take on a life of their own.
