On a rainy autumnal afternoon, maple leaves covered the ground. I was looking for that special angle in which raindrops and small pools of water take another dimension with the right ray of light. The ochre, red and golden leaves lay spread in a natural carpet along my path. Clouds grew weary and started to open up. Thick raindrops fell on my head from the trees around me. And there it was, a perfect alignment of maple leaves, sun rays and colour. This particular leaf offered me perfect shimmering round droplets, quietly adorning its back.
