Barbados Orchid is one of the most difficult images I have produced. I photograhed this in Black and White Film at the Orchid Gardens in the Island of Barbados. It jumped out visually on my contact sheet but needed some color to complete the equation. I painstakenly toyed with it in the dark room and with many hand-coloring options on my drafting table. The result was just very minimal coloring on the interior. I suggest the following framing....Frame: Silver wood, Top Mat: Arabian White, Bottom Mat: Light Gray, Glass should be UV Protected or Plexi.
