About this work:
The beauty of a rose, the pain of the thorns, and the gems that come from experience. It is difficult to keep reaching for the rose, but worth it in the end. I originally saw this image while falling asleep & thought it was too beautiful not to paint, of course it is difficult to do justice to the "real" image.
