About this work:
This painting is based on a self-portrait done in pencil and using all natural materials instead of human flesh. I had so much fun with the pencil sketch , I wanted to paint her. The sprite took on a life of her own in this image done in 1994. I gave the original painting to my father because he fell in love with it.
